Resizes one app screenshot to every size the App Store and Google Play accept and packs the results into a ZIP with clear file names. For anyone publishing or updating a store listing.

How to use it

Take one screenshot from the largest device you support, at its full resolution. The sizes are made in your browser and the screenshot is never uploaded.

  1. Choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP screenshot, or drop it into the box.
  2. Check each size in the preview. A note appears where a size needs the screenshot to be cropped or enlarged.
  3. Read the findings and replace the screenshot if a size needs a larger one.
  4. Download the ZIP, or a single size. Each file name carries the platform, device and pixel size.

How Reavlo tests this

The tool plans every output from the size of your screenshot and the sizes in Reavlo's media specs data, then draws them in your browser. Nothing about the screenshot is sent anywhere.

  1. Sizes are the exact pixel sizes the store documents for screenshots, each with the date it was checked. Icons and feature graphics are different assets and are not made here.
  2. Shape. A store size is exact, so the screenshot is cropped to the shape of the size, centred, and then scaled. Nothing is stretched. If the shapes differ, the result says how much of the screenshot is cropped away.
  3. Too small. If the screenshot has fewer pixels than a size needs, it is enlarged and the result is flagged.
  4. Format. PNG is used where the store accepts it, otherwise JPEG. Where the store disallows transparency, the image is flattened onto white.
  5. Names are chosen by the plan: the screenshot's name, the device and the size, made safe for any file system, and unique inside the ZIP.

Limits. Only the sizes the stores document with exact pixel values are listed, so a newer device class can be missing until the data is updated. The tool does not check the content of the screenshot against store review rules, and the stores may change what they accept.

Questions

Is my screenshot uploaded?

No. The screenshot is read, resized and packed in your browser, and nothing from it is sent to a server or stored. If Google Analytics is enabled on this site, it only records that the tool ran, never the screenshot or its name.

Which screenshot should I start from?

The largest one you have, from the device with the highest resolution you support. Making a smaller image larger always looks softer than making a larger one smaller.

Why does the tool crop my screenshot?

Store screenshot sizes are exact, and two devices rarely have the same shape. The tool keeps the centre and crops the rest instead of stretching, and says how much was cropped. Capture each device class separately if the edges matter.

Why are some files PNG and others JPEG?

A placement that lists PNG gets PNG. A placement that lists only JPEG gets JPEG. Stores that refuse transparency get an opaque image.
