Turns a few keywords into product and startup name ideas by blending, joining, adding beginnings and endings, and borrowing Greek and Latin roots. For founders who want a starting list of names before they check what is free.
How to use it
- Type up to four words that describe the product, separated by spaces or commas.
- Pick a style: modern, playful or classic. It sets the beginnings and endings the names use.
- Read the ideas. Each one shows how it was built, and the root it borrows when it uses one.
- Use "More ideas" to move to the next page. The same words always give the same pages.
- Copy the list or download it as CSV, then check the names you like for a free domain and handle.
How Reavlo tests this
The ideas are built in your browser by fixed rules. There is no language model and no random number: the order of the ideas comes from a hash of your keywords and style, so the same input always gives the same pages.
Methods. A name is built from a keyword with a beginning or ending from the chosen style; from the start of one keyword and the end of another (a blend); from two keywords joined; or from a root word. A root is used when its meaning names one of your keywords, or when it is joined to the start of a keyword.
Root list. The roots come from the Wikipedia list of Greek and Latin roots in English, read on 10 October 2026 and licensed CC BY-SA 4.0. Only short roots with a short English meaning are kept. The list is reviewed twice a year.
Filters. Names shorter than four or longer than fourteen letters, names without a vowel, names that repeat a letter three times, names equal to one of your keywords, and names that contain an offensive word stem are left out.
Limits. The tool does not check whether a name is a trademark, whether a domain or a handle is free, or how the name sounds in other languages. A name that looks new can still be taken. Check each name you like before you commit to it.
Questions
Is what I type uploaded?
No. The ideas are built in your browser and nothing you enter is sent to a server or stored. A share link carries your keywords, style and page in the address fragment, which browsers don't send to servers.
Does it use AI to invent the names?
No. The names come from fixed combination rules and a list of Greek and Latin roots, so the result is predictable and repeatable. You will not get a different list by asking twice.
How do I get different ideas?
Change a keyword or the style, or move to the next page. Every page is deterministic, so you can go back to one you liked.
Are the names free to use?
Not necessarily. The tool does not check trademarks, domains or social handles. Treat the list as a starting point and check each name before you use it.
Where do the root words come from?
From the Wikipedia list of Greek and Latin roots in English, which is licensed CC BY-SA 4.0. The date it was read and the review cycle are shown with the tool.
