Compares the descriptions of your product from several places, such as your website, store listings and profiles, and shows where they contradict each other about the name, prices, numbers and promises. For makers who rewrite the same pitch in ten places and want it to stay true in all of them.
How to use it
Paste the text as it appears in each place and give each one a label. Add the product name if you want every other way of writing it flagged. Fix the critical findings first: they are the ones a customer can hold you to.
- Paste the description from at least two places, and name each place, or load the example.
- Optionally type the product name exactly as you want it written.
- Press Run check, or Ctrl/⌘ + Enter.
- Read the findings. Each one lists the words that disagree and the place they come from; use "Show in text" to jump to it.
- Fix the texts and run the check again.
How Reavlo tests this
Everything runs in your browser. Reavlo reads each text with a shared claim extractor and compares what it finds; it never fetches your pages, so it sees exactly what you paste.
Names. With a product name, any other way of writing it is flagged: other capitals ("BEACON"), a space or hyphen inside, a dot. Without one, a name written in two forms in different texts is flagged. A capital at the start of a sentence says nothing about a name, so a plain capitalised word is not enough on its own.
Prices. An amount with a currency symbol or code, and a billing period when one is stated ("/month", "per year", "monthly"). Two texts disagree when they give the same currency and period and have no amount in common, or the same amount for different periods. A text that lists several plans is compared by whether it shares an amount, so a text that mentions only the entry plan does not contradict one that lists all of them.
Numbers. A number and the word after it, such as "10,000 teams" or "99.9% uptime". Two texts disagree when they count the same thing and share no value. Years and prices are not read as numbers.
Promises. A short list of promises customers hold you to: free, unlimited, no credit card, free trial, money-back guarantee, cancel anytime, open source, 24/7, no sign-up. Made in some texts and absent from others is noted, not judged; sometimes a text is simply short.
Limits. English only. The tool compares what is written; it cannot tell which version is true, or catch a contradiction that is worded differently ("twice as fast" against "50% faster").
Questions
Is my text uploaded?
No. The comparison runs in your browser and nothing you paste is sent to a server or stored. If Google Analytics is enabled on this site, it only records that the tool ran, never your text.
Why does it not fetch my pages from a URL?
Pasting keeps the tool private and lets you check text that is not public yet, such as a store listing under review. It also means the result is about the words you chose to compare.
Which version should I keep when two texts disagree?
The tool cannot tell. Check the current price, the current figure and the current name at their source, then update every other text to match.
Does a clean result mean my messaging is consistent?
It means the names, prices, numbers and promises it can read do not contradict each other. It does not compare tone, positioning or claims worded differently.
