Turns the review link you got from Google (or another review site) into a link you can copy and a QR code you can download as PNG or SVG, so a customer can leave a review in two taps. The tool checks the link's shape and does not make links up. For owners who want to put "review us" on a receipt, a counter or a package.
How to use it
Everything is made in your browser. The link you paste is not uploaded or stored.
- Get your review link from the review site itself. For Google, open your Business Profile and use the option to share a review form, then copy the link.
- Paste the link into the field and check that the tool recognises it.
- Copy the link, or choose PNG or SVG and download the QR code.
- Scan the code with a phone and make sure the review form opens before you print.
How Reavlo tests this
This tool computes no score. It runs two engines one after the other: review-links checks the link you pasted, then qr-utm encodes it.
- No links are invented. The tool never builds a review address from a business name or a Place ID, because no public documentation gives a verified format for that. It only works with a link you produced yourself on the review site.
- Shape check. The link must be a complete
https://address without a user name, password or port. Two Google shapes are recognised: a shortg.pagelink that ends in/review, and asearch.google.comwrite-review link that carries aplaceidvalue. A Google write-review link without a usableplaceidis refused. Any otherhttps://address is accepted as written and labelled as not recognised, since its shape is not checked. - The code. The link is encoded as UTF-8 in byte mode at error correction level M, with a four-module quiet zone, as defined in ISO/IEC 18004. The encoder is the open-source
qrcode-generatorlibrary, run in your browser. - The files. The SVG is one square and one path, so it stays sharp at any size. The PNG is drawn on whole pixels per module at the width you pick.
Limits. The tool does not open the link, so it cannot tell whether the page exists or whether a review site changed its format. The code is static: it holds the link itself and cannot be changed after printing. Test a printed sample before a large run.
Questions
Why can't I just enter my business name or Place ID?
A review address built from a Place ID is not documented in a source Reavlo could verify, and a guessed link can send customers to a broken page. Use the link your review site gives you.
Where do I get my Google review link?
Sign in to your Business Profile on Google and use the option to ask for reviews, which shows a link you can copy. Paste it here.
Does it work for sites other than Google?
Yes, for the link and the QR code: any complete https address is accepted. The tool only recognises the shape of Google's links, so for other sites it cannot confirm the link is a review form.
Is my link sent anywhere?
No. The link and the code are made in your browser and nothing is stored. If Google Analytics is enabled on this site, it only records that the tool ran, never the link.
Does the QR code expire?
No. The code holds your link directly, with no redirect through Reavlo, so it works as long as the link does.
