Social Post Preview for Each Network

Write one post and see it on each network, with an optional picture. Reavlo marks where a network cuts the text only where an official source gives the figure, and says so where it has none. Your text and picture never leave your browser.

Shows one post laid out for LinkedIn, X, Facebook and Threads, with your picture, and marks where a network cuts the text wherever an official source documents the figure. For anyone writing posts who wants to see the cut before publishing.

How to use it

Write or paste your post and, if you like, add a picture. The preview updates as you type, and nothing leaves your browser.

  1. Write or paste the post, or load the example to see how it reads.
  2. Add the picture you plan to attach. It is shown in each frame and stays in your browser.
  3. Read the headline: it says how many networks' limits the post is over.
  4. Where a limit is known, find the cut marker in the text and shorten the post until it disappears.

How Reavlo tests this

The count is plain arithmetic, run in your browser. The limits come from Reavlo's platform limits data, and each one shows the date it was checked against the platform's own documentation.

  1. Characters are counted as people see them: one visible character is one, so an emoji with skin tone or a letter with an accent is a single character. This follows the Unicode extended grapheme cluster rules.
  2. Where a source documents that every link counts as a fixed length, each link in your text counts as that length, whatever its real length.
  3. The cut is the first character that does not fit. It is never placed inside a character.
  4. A network with no figure from an official source is still drawn, but no cut is marked for it. A missing limit is deliberate, not an oversight.

Limits. The frames are schematic, not a copy of any network's interface, and a network may rewrite or shorten your text. The X figure shown is the one X documents for ad post copy, because the data holds no figure for ordinary X posts; the frame names the record it used. Facebook and Threads have no verified figure yet.

Questions

Why does a network show no limit?

A limit is listed only when it is documented in the platform's own help pages. Where no official number has been verified, any number would be folklore, so the preview draws the post and leaves the cut out.

Is the X limit the one for ordinary posts?

Not exactly. The figure shown is the one X documents for ad post copy, with links counted as a fixed length. The frame names the record it comes from so you can judge how far to rely on it.

Does an emoji count as one character?

Yes, here it does. A family emoji is built from several symbols joined together but shows as one character, and the tool counts it as one. Leave a small margin for emoji-heavy text in case a network counts differently.

Is my picture uploaded?

No. The picture is read and shown in your browser tab only, and it is released when you remove it or leave the page.

Does it work with right-to-left text?

Yes. The text in each frame follows its own direction, so Hebrew or Arabic posts read the way they will on the network.
